王忠仁博士简介

Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville . Now he is the Acting Chief of Office of Pavement Planning and Programming, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)Caltrans Headquarters, Division of Maintenance. His areas of expertise include pavement management, traffic operations and management, and intelligent management systems. A registered Civil Engineer and Traffic Engineer in the State of California, Dr. Wang has more than 20 years of experiences in project development and management, program administration, as well as academic teaching and research. Dr. Wang serves on four standing Committees of the Transportation Research Board (TRB), including Geometric Design, Traffic Flow Theory and Characteristics, Pavement Management, and International Cooperation. He also serves as panelists for multiple National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) research projects. Dr. Wang published some 30 journal papers and book chapters in various refereed journals and proceedings. He is the founding member and associate editor of the International Journal on Transportation Science and Technology.

王忠仁博士2000年博士毕业于美国田纳西大学，诺克斯维尔分校；1998年硕士毕业于新加坡国立大学；1992和1989年相继获得同济大学硕士与学士学位。美国注册土木工程师，注册交通工程师。加州运输局养护处高级工程师，路面管理专家。专长信息化路面养护管理、交通控制与管理。2007年至2014年，担任美国加州交通厅运营处交通管理系统主管，负责全州道路匝道控制、流量监测、可变情报板管理、交通无线广播管理。主持多项相关标准的制定；2015年至今担任美国加州交通厅养护处路面规划与计划办公室主管，负责指导全加州未来10年的路面管理系统开发和执行；负责监督加州每年10亿美元路面养护与改善计划预算的执行情况；目前担任美国University of the Pacific, California State University,Sacramento等大学的兼职教授，是国际杂志《International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology》的创始成员和副主编、同时担任美国Transportation Research Board协会道路线形设计、交通流特性、路面养护、国际合作等多个委员会的委员。
